The illustrated book Archetype is based on the book Women Who Run With the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. I selected five stories, which I illustrated and compiled into one book.

My goal was to immerse myself in and understand Estés’ work, track down the Wild Woman, and imprint my knowledge as authentically as possible into the illustrations and the entire resulting book. The work also includes a tin jewel based on the shape of a bone on a concrete pedestal.
