Our mission is to bring art into everyday life by crafting unique products that turn routine interactions into extraordinary moments. We combine contemporary design with artisanal craftsmanship to create pieces that are both functional and beautiful. Each design tells a story, enhancing your home and sparking conversations.

OUR STORY
The idea for studio monstro started in 2022 when we, as a couple, wanted to combine our artistic talents. We aimed to create a space where we could merge our skills and develop innovative products. Enthusiastic about enhancing each other’s work, we envisioned a multidisciplinary brand that blends art, design, and cutting-edge technology, honoring the diversity of these fields.

klára
Klára is a designer, printer and artist from Prague. After graduating in Illustration and Graphics, one year of History of Art and High School of Aplied Arts graduation, she now continues her studies of Industrial Design at FA CTU.
Thanks to her diverse studies of art and design she has gained a solid attainment in these fields and she gradually builds a distinctive approach to designing art objects.
She co-found studio monstro with the vision of creating an open platform to showcase her progressive approach to art and design. She brings the artistic element into studio monstro and handles most of the graphic design.
jakub
Jakub is an engineer and designer with a passion for creating and improving mechanisms. In high school, he began constructing various machines and enhancements, learning to use both traditional and modern production processes. He started studying architecture at CTU but didn’t complete his studies; he’s now joining an architecture studio at UMPRUM.
He specializes in complex solution design and implementation and co-founded studio monstro, which helps showcase and develop artistic talent. Additionally, he teaches the use of traditional and modern machines. Jakub is also a consultant for the Prague City Council in the development of technology centers.
